Lead is an element in the Mendeleev table named Pb. Lead is heavy, soft, malleable, and has a low melting point. We find it a lot in older pipes, weights for fishing, and forklift counter weights. As more evidence surfaces as to its negative health benefits we are finding less of it in modern applications.
